Job Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description:
We are looking for a top-flight Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive our business on to the next level. You will become part of our Senior Management Team and a self-motivated, experienced B2B sales professional responsible for achieving our aims of growing our schools and corporate bookings business. What you will be responsible for: * Be the first point of contact for school, college and corporate booking enquiries from initial contact to post booking review, converting enquiries into profitable bookings and developing relationships to maximise opportunities from repeat business. * To identify and target new potential customers and sectors and bring in new bookings * Develop plans to acquire new customer contacts, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and/or business-to-business marketing visits * Provide current and potential hirers with information, date availability, quotations, package proposals and site tours. * To account manage relationships with existing customers to maintain repeat business. * Researching the needs of the school or organisation and identify key decision makers. What we are looking for in you: * Proven sales track record of achieving targets in B2B sales within training, education, outdoor or events industry * Should have demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation * Keen learner with genuine interest & understanding of the outdoor industry and awareness of the business world * Excellent Interpersonal, Listening, Communication, Articulation, Presentation, Negotiation and Analytical skills * Self-motivated and self-driven * Flexible and adaptable with ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Able to work flexible hours as and when required. * An excellent communicator who enjoys meeting potential clients and negotiating with them in an enthusiastic and motivated manner. * Excellent administration, budgeting and forecasting skills. * Ability to manage own workload and work autonomously. * Able to contribute effectively as part of a senior management team. * Must be able to travel within the region and have access to own vehicle. Youll need to be flexible in your working and able to manage your own calendar to achieve the targets. Youll be home or remotely based for the most part, but expected to be in the office at South Cerney Outdoor one day per week.
